Well, like I said, there are a lot of themes I like, both opening and ending. But even for ones I adore, like the aforementioned "Tank!" and "Guns and Roses" and even Trigun's "HT," I don't always sit through them whether it's a combination of the series itself being so demanding of attention or just because it got old after a while.

Heh. It doesn't take much for me to memorize an opening... of the above both "Haruka Kanata" and "Bokutachi no Yukue" got memorized at breakneck speeds -- I at least knew all the lyrics to the TV cuts in eight episodes or less. xD

I enjoyed all of the Zetsubou-sensei songs, actually, the openings and the endings. :3 They were all so quirky - and of course, they kept changing the animations, so you kinda had to watch to see what's next.

Tenshi no Shippo, or Angel Tales as it was translated, had the happiest dang song ever, so I liked listening to that. X3

Gotta say, though, outside of Pokemon, the theme I always watched was the Kekkaishi opener! It was written for the series, seeing as "Ayakashi Night" was the title. It played for all 52 episodes, so I finally learned all the words to something. I wish the series wasn't so obscure, it really had some of the best animation I've seen, and the stories make me cry... ;__; Dang ghosts.

On the contrary, Baccano!'s "Guns and Roses" would be up to par with "Tank!" I think, but while I do really like both openings, they didn't capture me enough to make me want to sit through it 26 (or 13 in Baccano!'s case) times. xD Either that, or Bebop and Baccano! were both too awesome of series for me to want to wait much longer to watch the actual episode. It's a hard choice, y'know? :P

How the crap is "Tank!" from Cowboy Bebop not on that list? It at least deserves a place in the runner-ups, especially considering that nobody's even come close to replicating it. :)
